The start of Dover Youth Football & Cheer’s 2021 Season was met head on with Hurricane Ida!

Extensive damage was done to our Field, Equipment Trailer and most of all our Concession Stand as water reached above counter height. Our Concession Stand is our biggest asset and the way we pay for our EMTs, Referee Fees and game day necessities! We are starting from scratch and need to purchase many large commercial items. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and goes right back to our youth! We arent just a team, but a family.. and this is hitting us all hard. Thank you for your support!! ❤️🖤

Football & Cheer Youth Night!

Join us for Youth Night at the Dover Middle School Stadium!
Friday September 3, 2021 as the High School Varsity team takes on Northern under the lights!
Game starts at 7:00pm, DYFA Cheerleaders and Football players will be running onto the field. This has always been a fun night for our athletes and a great way to come together to show support for our past and present Eagles!

Just a friendly reminder: children in their Jersey or Cheer Uniform are free but parents will need to pay admission to enter.


In Person Registration/Uniform Fitting Dates

As DYFA enters its 5th season, athletes will be receiving a special edition personalized uniform that they will be able to keep at the end of the season. Athletes MUST register online by July 13th or register and be fitted at one of the uniform fitting dates!

To ensure the uniforms are received on time for opening weekend we will need to order all uniforms by July 16th! We have reserved two dates for your child to be fitted.

It is imperative that your child attends one of the dates to be fitted properly!

Friday, July 2nd (5:30-7:30pm) or Tuesday, July 13th (5:30-7:30pm) at the Dover Community Building (3700 Davidsburg Rd. Dover, PA 17315)*Cheerleaders, please wear a swimsuit under clothing! *

Please remember $100 is due to order your child’s uniform! Balances may be paid at the time of equipment/uniform handout in August. Checks can be turned in on uniform fitting dates or pay online under the make a payment tab.

Paperwork can also be dropped off at uniform fitting dates! *** The YCYFA League requires all Football players to provide a copy of their birth certificate, report card and physical.Cheerleaders only need to provide a physical to participate. ***

Physical forms can be printed from our website under the league physical form tab. Forms MUST be turned in on or before the official start date of the season (August 9th)!

FREE Summer Clinics

Our FREE Summer Conditioning Clinics begin June 30th! Held every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30pm and Saturday morning 10:00-12:00pm! THERE WILL BE NO CLINIC HELD JULY 4TH WEEKEND! these are a great way to get in shape for the upcoming season or if you’re child would like to give Football a try before signing up! No contact and no registration required! Our Coaches are eager to get started on the upcoming season! We hope to see you there! 🏈🦅🏈🦅🏈🦅

Our 2021 Spring Flag Football Registrations are now CLOSED! An email with important dates and info will be sent within the next few days to all registered athletes.

Fall Tackle Football and Cheer Registration will be opening soon! Please keep an eye on our Facebook page and on our website for details. We are still in need of Cheer coaches, if interested you may apply online under the “2021 Football & Cheer Coaches Application”

2021 Flag Football

DYFA is partnering with other local tackle football programs to provide a full Flag Football season starting in March with games on Saturdays or Sundays and ending in early June! Final schedules will be distributed once teams have been assigned.
The Flag Football Program is open to boys and girls who are ages 5-14 as of January 1, 2021 and who meet one of the following residence criteria:
Currently reside in the Dover Area School District; or do not reside in Dover, but played tackle football for DYFA during the 2020 Season; or do not reside in Dover but is the closest participating program to the player’s home. The other participating programs at this time are Northeastern and West York.
Registration is $75, players will receive a customized jersey to keep. Follow the link below for complete program overview and Registration!

Below is the position description, if you think you’d be a great asset to the organization please send us an email expressing interest at!

The treasurer is responsible for recording all incoming and outgoing monetary transactions, producing a monthly spreadsheet detailing financial activity, and records of the ending balance of any active accounts. The treasurer is to retain proper records of all transactions in perpetuity. The treasurer is also responsible for handling all incoming funds via registration fees, merchandise sales, concessions, and general, public, or private donations of which those receipts will be handed over to the treasurer for proper recording.

  • Primary qualifications are as follows:
    The nominee must have served a minimum of 1 year of volunteerism. There is no set term limits.

Heat Acclimation Week

As a reminder, Heat Acclimation week runs from 8/10- 8/13 6:00-7:30pm. We MUST have the signed Physical Form before your child can start practice! Players will start practices with cleats & mouthpiece only and build up to full pads by Thursday. These are MANDATORY practices.

8/10- Regular Clothing, Mouthpiece and Cleats

8/11- Helmets Only

8/12- Helmets, Shoulder Pads, Practice Jersey

8/13- Helmets, Shoulder Pads, Practice Jersey, Padded Practice Pants

Please contact us if you were not able to attend equipment handouts at All balances must be paid in full before equipment is given . We can not release any equipment without payment in full! You can pay online via debit or credit card at in person with cash or check.

Per our Bylaws, refunds are not given once the season has officially started. However, due to Covid-19 and the possibility of another shut down the board has voted to implement a “Pandemic Refund Policy.” In the event the season is cancelled due to Covid-19, the following refund policy will take place: *50% Refund will be given up till the FIRST game of the season (Scheduled for 8/29/20) * 25% Refund if shutdown occurs between games 2-5

* No Refund given after game 5 -Refunds will be given when all equipment pieces are turned in.
